Is it possible there is nothing new under the sun? With all we know, all we have learned in the centuries since Solomon lived and reigned, surely we are ahead; surely we are smarter, surely we have uncovered or discovered some thing that didn’t exist before.

I was told Ayurvedic healing methods are a new phenomenon, completely unheard of in the United States. Unlike the Spanish explorers and colonizers who were anxious to find gold and save souls, the English explorers were interested in expanding beyond their small island kingdom and were especially keen on botany - finding new plants to grow on their island home and enriching their colonies with foods and herbs.
